.:*Trick-or-Treat*:.

Happy Halloween! (Yes, a week late!) Life has been a little chaotic *&* I'm just now getting a chance to update. We had an exciting, fun-filled Halloween weekend planned! Starting out with Friday, it was .:*Tumbleween*:. at gymnastics! Since her original costume was too large, we decided to go as a Witchy Witch. Incorporating pumpkins, spooky spiders, and candy in with gymnastics made for an extra fun time! Not to mention, Daddy was off work *&* was able to attend his very 1st class. What a great start to our weekend!

With the holiday landing on a Sunday, a handful of neighborhoods were celebrating Saturday night *&* my cute little cupcake couture got her 1st taste of "real" trick-or-treating. All the kiddos started the night out at Ansley *&* Avery's, eating pizza, cookies, *&* other festive goodies. From there, we hit the streets, going door-to-door, getting loadfuls of tasty treats. The night was a success!

And finally, *Halloween* had arrived! We spent the day with Sophia, Benjamin, *&* Ava at trunks-for-treats. That was much more appropriate for Bryn's age with candy, jump-jumps, slides, *&* train rides! Bryn-Bug was in a sugar-filled heaven *&* Mommy.. well, was flat wore out! ;) All in all, we celebrated a wonderful Halloween weekend with lots of great friends *&* good times! We are blessed!

Pumpkins *&* Picasso.

Despite the fact that John's first shift with *APD* was officially in order *&* I was a nervous wreck over it.. we had a wonderful weekend! While Daddy left for an evening of crime fighting, Brynlie *&* I went with Papa *&* Gigi to the Halloween Festival at Stone Forest. We had a great time roasting hot dogs *&* smores, playing games, *&* begging for "one more time, peeease!" down the big slide. We ended the day with dinner at Pelazzio's *&* pumpkin painting, which went wild with my little sugar butt who found it much more intriguing to paint herself than her pumpkins. Imagine that! ;) Here's a sneak peek of Atlanta's hottest officer and a few others of our eventful weekend!

Brynlie and I would like to wish a big **CONGRATULATIONS** to Daddy! After six long, grueling months of training and testing, Daddy finally gets sworn into the Atlanta Police Department today! We couldn't be more proud! Atlanta's lucky to have you! We love you, Officer Vaughn! xo.

.:*Pumpkin Patch Pretties*:.

Another gorgeous Fall weekend, this one spent at Pettit Creek pumpkin patch with Bryn, Daddy, and the Harrell's. Brynlie and Ava enjoyed a fun-filled day of pumpkin picking, face painting, petting zoo's, and moon walks. What a blast!

Festive Fun!

Brynlie hasn't been feeling well.. her two year molars have her under the weather, so this morning we skipped the gym and decorated *Halloween* cookies instead! She had so much fun and did such a wonderful job. I love my pretty little punkin' head! ;)

Yesterday was such a gorgeous day, I just could not pass up a photoshoot with my little pumpkin head. Brynlie makes Fall look much too fabulous!

Day One of Operation Break the Binky!

And so it begins.. the dreaded breaking of the binky! :( At 18 months, Brynlie has a full mouth of teeth and the vocabulary of a two year old. It's long over-due. So, last night was my first attempt. I cut the tip of it off. It was all fun and games to begin with, but when she got sleepy it turned ugly. She was frantically searching high and low, behind furniture, in her kitchen cubbards, her toy box, etc. After over an hour of whining and tantrums Mommy gave in because Daddy had work in the morning. I promise to try harder this weekend when I have Daddy's help. Brynlie-1. Mommy-0.

Bryn-Bug Starts Gymnastics!

Good Morning.. *&* Happy Friday! :) I'm wide awake like a kid on Christmas morning.. I can't sleep! Brynlie's first gymnastics class begins today! :) I am excited, nervous, sad.. Mommy's a wreck! ;) My little lovebug is growing up on me. :( I hope she loves it!!! Pictures *&* an update coming soon..


Brynlie loved it! And she was amazing! She was the 2nd youngest kid in class yet one of the most advanced. She was able to hang from the bars all by herself, walk across the balance beam without falling off, mastered somersaults by the end of class! Mommy is so proud! We are already looking forward to her next class! :)
